Cheesy Ruffles and Stuff

Wed Sep 30, 2009, 3:21 PM
So this is going to be sort of a general dump of a journal entry. Hope ya’ll don’t mind :B (Mmmm, cheesy ruffles are cheesy.

I’m back in school, and so far the classes I’m taking haven’t been difficult, and are—gasp—even ENJOYABLE. Here’s an overview of them:

Survey of Western Art II: The professor is super feminist, but I kinda like that about her, to be honest. Pretty easy and unconventional. We don’t even have to buy a book, and instead download articles to read.

3D Design: Not with computers, like most people generally think when I tell them about this class. It’s a general ed class where we make stuff out of 3D materials like q-tips. The professor is a sweet heart  Such a nice lady…..Even so, I kind of dislike this class. I’m not a 3D type of person….

Drawing for Sequential Art: Reminds me a lot of life drawing, so a the stuff we’re learning now seems like review. For now it’s good practice, I suppose. I hope we go over some material about backgrounds, because if you haven’t noticed I kind of fail at drawing them >.>;; heheh…..

I’m rooming with :iconphychoticsilence: which is AwEsOmE :D It helps having a room mate who doesn’t make me unclog the toilet for her all the time.

Oh, and AWA…it was kind of fail as far as making money is concerned. But….I got a lot of prints :D And I got to spend all of my money at :iconcamilladerrico:’s table, so it was worth it.

Earlier this week I sent out all of the commissions from Afest and AWA, so if you are one of my commissioners, you should be receiving them soon.

Anywho, that’s it for now. Ttyl folks.

Afest was great :D Now it's already time for AWA. I'm at table 29 with :iconshiawase-chan::iconphychoticsilence: and :iconbemused-dreamer:. Come by and pay a visit if you can, okay?

I'll write more about the cons later. Now I should probably get some sleep before leaving bright and early in the morning x_x hehehe......

Mon Aug 31, 2009, 6:24 PM
Hi guys! Just so you know, I'll be at AnimeFest in Dallas over Labor Day Weekend. If you can, you should drop by. I'll be in the bazaar selling L and Vincent Valentine shirts, along with various prints :D I'll also be wearing a very pink lolita oufit that I managed to pull together in the last week >.>;; I hope it doesn't fail too much...

Fellow Scaddys :iconshiawase-chan: and :iconbemused-dreamer: will be there, also, and afterward we'll be driving to Savannah together :B I'm so excited to start school, it's almost embarrassing >.>;; But I liek it....

Whoever gets the 8,000th page view can make a request :D But I get to choose the materials I draw/color it with, okay? Make sure you take a screenshot, tho. And if I don't get one for 8,000, whoever sends me the next closest can request something, instead.
